What Information Do We Collect?
When you browse or download information from our Web site, our servers automatically collect limited amounts of standard information for traffic monitoring and statistical purposes. This information is analyzed for operational trends, performance, and for ways to improve the site. Examples of this type of information include:
- Internet Protocol (IP) address of the computer being used;
- Internet Service Providers from which you arrive;
- Dates and times our site is accessed;
- Types and versions of browsers used to access our site and the operating systems of the computers being used;

- Key words entered into our search engine; and

What Will You Do With My Email Address?
You'll receive our national awareness campaign updates in your inbox, and occasional alerts relating to the national awareness campaign. We take your personal information very seriously – our focus is to use your e-mail to inform you about the Licensed Optician national awareness campaign.
When we send you emails, we may include a web beacon to allow us to determine the number of people who open our emails. Web beacons collect only limited information, such as link click-throughs, time and date of a page being viewed, and a description of the page on which the Web Beacon resides (the URL).
Web Beacons can be refused when delivered via email. If you do not wish to receive Web Beacons via email, you will need to disable HTML images or refuse HTML (select Text only) emails via your email software.
